New Bike!!

For his second birthday, we got Menias a bike! And not just any bike, this is a candy apple red, lightning McQueen bike, decked out with white wall tires! Menias was THRILLED with the bike at the store, and was so mad that we wouldn't let him ride around all the isles. Then we got home.

Bearizona

Okay, so I may have taken the kiddo to Bearizona oh.... two months ago?? No, I can't be that harsh on my blogging skills, it was likely more about a month. Either way, these photos are the exact reason that they do NOT have a bearizona petting zoo... My kid would have been the first to be eaten. No doubt.

They give you about one set of directions as you enter the park- stay in the car and keep your windows up at all times.... My kid missed the memo.

Well, it is no doubt that I suck. Yes. Super suck. at writing blog posts regularly. And now that I am done with getting my master's degree (woohoo!!) I really have no excuse but to say that I just forget! So when my good friend Kelly stopped by and I was just sitting at home sick, she convinced me that it was time to update the darn thing! So three cheers for Kelly, and a new blog post!! So the biggest new news? Well, I suppose that my little boy just turned 2! So crazy how fast time flies!

This kid means business when it comes to cake eating. He is definitely mine.

First adventure in sledding!

Menias really had a great time sledding! He was a bit hesitant at first, and was really upset that he had to wear gloves- he despises them for some reason. BUT, after he went down the first time and realized he was still alive, he wanted to go, go, go! We celebrated with a big YAY!!! at the end of the hill, so whenever Menias saw another kid sled down the hill he would stop whatever he was doing to give them a YAYYYY! He's such a team player ;) And of course, with a playground being around, we couldn't leave without some playground action. Menias is still getting a hang of the whole slide thing. Happy Winter!

Menias turns 1!

Happy birthday Menias! I can't believe it has already been a year! You may still be refusing to walk, but you sure are a big boy now! YOU MADE IT!! Here are some pictures of your big birthday party!
